Dong Van Overview
Dong Van is a rural district of Ha Giang province in the Northeast region of Vietnam. Located at north of Ha Giang, near the Chinese-Vietnamese border, this plateau is covered by karst mountains.
Dong Van is an perfect place for trekking and mountain climbing, where grandiose mountains may challenge your spirit for real. In return, breathtaking landscapes, meetings with local ethnic minorities and learn from their daily life’s stories are no where can be found in the world.
Dong Van district includes of two towns, Pho Bang (Phó Bảng) and Dong Van town, and communes of Ho Quang Phin (Hố Quáng Phìn), Lung Cu (LÅ©ng Cú), Lung Tao (LÅ©ng Táo), Lung Thau (LÅ©ng Thầu), Lung Phin (LÅ©ng Phìn), Ma Le (Má Lé), Pho La (Phố Là), Pho Cao (Phố Cáo), Sa Phin (Sà Phìn), Sang Tung (Sảng Tủng), Sinh Lung (Sính Lủng), Sung Trai (Sủng Trái), Sung La (Sủng Là), Ta Lung (Tả Lủng), Ta Phin (Tả Phìn), Thai Phin Tung (Thài Phìn Tủng) and Van Chai (Vần Chải).
