Tour itinerary

Full day: Hanoi - Perfume Pagoda - Hanoi (L)

AM: 7.45 – 8.15: Our guide & driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter, then take 2 hours road trip. Then you take row-boat trip to go visit that land on the Yen stream “romantic time” about 1 hour to Thien Tru harbor. Then you will enjoy time to trekking go up and down visit the main cave so nice step by step you will arrive Huong Tich cave on the top of the mountain. To see Golden-Silver tree rice stuck… One hour down. Have lunch at bottom of mountain in restaurant beside.

PM: After lunch time, you will see the Heaven Kitchen pagoda and to know about Buddhism ancient architectural at Le Dynasty. Then you will come back by row-boat-trip and 2 hour road trip to Hanoi and arrive at about 18h00.

We booked this tour with Vietnam Best Holidays. Both services and price were fantastic. We spent 2 hours drove outside of Hanoi. We enjoyed 01 hour boat ride and the cable ride was fantastic for views..I was pretty impressed with the view from the cave.

It was an interesting day trip organized by Vietnam Best Holidays. After we were picked up, We drove through the country side. We drove through little villages and rice fields. On the way, we stopped at an arts and crafts place to refresh. When we arrived at the entrance to the river we went by a six person boat that was rowed by a female to the entrance to the pagoda.. On the way, we stopped at an arts and crafts place to refresh. When we arrived at the entrance to the river we went by a six person boat that was rowed by a female to the entrance to the pagoda.. We then had to walk up more then 600 steps to get to the first pagoda. After that we went to restaurant for lunch. Local food was quite good. After lunch, we took the cable car to see the perfume pagoda. It was in a cave and quite moving. To get to the bottom of the cave we had to walk down 120 steps knowing that we would have to walk back up them to get out. I met some interesting people and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was an awesome day trip.Less

The perfume pagoda tour was a nice tour, it takes about 2 hours drive from central Hanoi. The drive was wonderful, we could see interesting countryside with a roadside stop halfway at an embroidery factory. When the bus arrived, we rowed boat for another hour down the river which was very peaceful, but we needed to take a hat and sunscreen as there is no shade. When we arrived at the dock, we ..More
The perfume pagoda tour was a nice tour, it takes about 2 hours drive from central Hanoi. The drive was wonderful, we could see interesting countryside with a roadside stop halfway at an embroidery factory. When the bus arrived, we rowed boat for another hour down the river which was very peaceful, but we needed to take a hat and sunscreen as there is no shade. When we arrived at the dock, we climbed around 600 stairs to see the first pagoda of the day, Thien Tru, which was just stunning. After visiting the pagoda, we went to the restaurant which served an excellent lunch. After lunch, we walked up more stairs to the cable car station. The cable car ride is only about 10 minutes when we arrived at the other end, there are another 100 steps to climb up to the entrance to Huong Tich Cave. Once we reached the top, we climbed down 120 steps into the cave where the pagoda is. It was clearly a very stunning place but it was hard work, and not ideal for anyone who suffers from ankle, knee, hip or asthmatic issues. It was a few hours in a bus but I really enjoyed going here - the boat ride was lovely amongst the limestone karsts and the pagodas are so cool - a pagoda in a cave in the middle of nowhere is something that has to be seen to be believed.
