Day 1: Arrive Hanoi (N/A)

Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, welcome your family to the first day of Mai Chau - Pu Luong Family Trekking Tour by driver (No Guide). Then transfer to hotel, check in & leisure (the room is official available after 14:00 pm).

The rest time, you will be freely explore Hanoi by your ways.

Overnight in Hanoi

Day 2: Hanoi - Mai Chau (B/L)

Have breakfast at hotel.

At 08:00 am, tour guide pick up your family to transfer to Mai Chau located in Hoa Binh province with approximately 135 km from Hanoi and 60 km from Hoa Binh city.

Drop by the Cun Mountain to take a rest and have a wonderful chance to see a panoramic scene of Mai Chau surrounded by a green valley and stilt houses

Arrive in Pom Coong village and take a short walk to discover the ethnic Thai people

Have a delicious lunch at a local household with the typical dishes like grilled chicken, bamboo shoot, grilled fish, etc.

In the afternoon, enjoy a walking tour to explore the surrounding villages, meet local people and learn about their lives how to raise crops and livestock

Day 3: Mai Chau - Pu Luong (B/L)

In the morning, begin your family’s trek in Na Meo with the easy walk through rice terraces and rural villages

Continue with your kids to Buoc Village where the White Thai people live and see local farmers working on the terraced rice paddies, forests and enjoy the natural beauty of the valley

Have a tasty lunch in a local house with various specialties in the mountainous area.

Drive to Pu Luong Natural Reserve, about 160 km southwest of Hanoi, with a stunning combination between pristine forest and cultivated rice terraces

Check in the hotel which offers a peaceful accommodation located among nature and lush greenery with the interesting family friendly activities such as: trekking, bamboo rafting, kayaking and so on.

Overnight in Pu Luong

Day 4: Pu Luong - Trek To Kho Muong Village (B/L)

Have breakfast at hotel.

In the morning, take a short ride from hotel to Bang village through the beautiful valley to Kho Muong where Muong and Thai people reside along the valley and mountainsides

Make the trekking route with one of the most stunning scenery of huge steep cliffs covered by immense green forests and rice terraces

Have a lunch at a local house

Visit the Bat Cave where up to 5 species of bast live and discover by taking a short hike to admire the greatness of the cave

Head back the accommodation and relax at your leisure.

Day 5: Pu Luong - Ninh Binh (B/L)

Have breakfast at hotel.

In the morning, set a perfect position to see a marvelous view of sunshine as well as nice shadows on the terrace rice fields.

Then, dead to Ninh Binh province, well-known for the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Trang An Grottoes, Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, Tam Coc and so on.

Have lunch at local restaurant.

Afternoon, experience the boat trip amid karst landscapes at Tam Coc also known as “Halong Bay in land” with a small wooden rowing-boat ride and the sound of the water lapping against the oars.

Overnight in Ninh Binh

Day 6: Hoa Lu & Mua Caves - Hanoi (B/L)

Have breakfast at hotel.

This morning, visit the Ngoa Long Lying Dragon Mountain or Mua Cave constructed following the model of “miniature Great Wall” in China.

Make a trek up with many of its uneven limestone steps to see impressive the spectacular rice valley with specious view of the nature Tam Coc, Trang An & Ninh Binh city when you reach the top point of Mua mountains.

Next, visit Hoa Lu - the Ancient Royal capital of Viet Nam. We will visit Dinh king temple and Le king temple dating back to the 17^th Century.

Have lunch at local restaurant.

Then, drive back Hanoi, check in hotel & leisure.

It was a really good experienceThere was a plus point for the trip about Thai traditional dance after dinner, I tried dance with local people and drank local wine called â€œRuou Canâ€After the trip in Mai Chau we went to Pu Luong, we trekked in 3.5 hours, same about 7km through village and terraced fields.
