Phnom Penh is the capital of Cambodia, is an beautiful riverside city of broad boulevards and many fascinating sights to please the visitors, such as the National Museum of Cambodia, the Royal Palace, a lot of French colonial buildings and a cultural and historical centre all rolled into one Phnom Penh. Some years ago rather shabby and run-down owing to the long years of war and four years of Khmer Rouge abandonment, the future now looks bright, and develope with new upscale super markets, shopping centres, deluxe residence complexes and luxury hotels opening all the time.
