Quang Ngai Overview
Quang Ngai is located in the South Central Coast region of Vietnam. Like other provinces in this area, Quang Ngai have mountains on one side and the sea on the other. The population consists of a majority of Kinh people, and some other minority groups.
Quang Ngai is famous for Ong and Mai Son pagodas, and the cultural vestiges of Chau Sa Citadel. The beautiful landscapes are Thien An Mountain, An Mountain, and Tra Khuc River, Co Luy Commune under coconut trees, Sa Huynh beaches.
Coming to Quang Ngai, tourists have opportunity to visit old battlefields with popular names like Tra Bong, Ba To, Ba Gia, Son My and Van Tuong.
