Ba Ria - Vung Tau Overview
Vung Tau is located in the Southern Vietnam, to the northeast of the Mekong Delta. The beautiful coastal city of Vung Tau has long been the most attractive tourist destination in South Vietnam. It has over 100km seashore with beautiful swimming beaches, as well as many lakes and thermal springs, golf courses.
In Vung Tau City, there are some tourists attraction places such as Chi Linh, Thuy Van, Front, Back, and Dau beaches; Long Dien District has Long Hai Beach; Xuyen Moc District has Ho Tram, Ho Coc beaches. In Con Dao Island, travelers are able to swim in Dam Trau, Hon Cau, and Hon Tre beaches... then they can climb in Nho Mountain, Thanh Gia Mountain. Besides these, travelers can participate in some traditional festivals as Nghinh Ong Festival (Welcoming the Lord Whale Festival), Dinh Co Festival, play golf or watch dogs racing in Lam Son stadium in Vung Tau City every Saturday.
